Thank you everyone for coming out and helping us raise money for Terry Gill. We were able to raise $2,345!
All proceeds will go to Terence "Terry" Gill. Terry, a master carpenter from Brightwaters, NY, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma at age 39, a disease most commonly seen in adults age 60 or older. He was told by his then doctor that he had just months to live. Starting in 2000, Terry received chemotherapy and radiation, underwent a stem cell transplant, and after being in remission for some time his cancer came back in 2006, 2010 and 2014. Fifteen years later, Terry is still fighting the disease.
This winter was particularly rough as Terry suffered several bouts of pneumonia and a respiratory infection, RSV, which led him to be out of work for over 6 months. This has put a financial strain on Terry, with the mounting number of doctors and medication biils, and cost of transportation to and from doctor's visits and treatement.
