The mission of the Communications Committee is to ensure the public is aware of what is going on with USS Cares. Communications Committee is responsible for making sure announcements of upcoming events is out in a timely manner, need to know information is easily accessible, awareness of who we are is publicized, making sure website and facebook is up to date, creating posters and flyers for each event and sending out emails to keep the public informed of events.
It is the mission of the USS Cares Distribution Committee to decide the distribution of raised funds to various charities and families in our community and Grenada. It is our job to ask for suggestions and bring to a committee vote. Amounts determined according to funds available. We will keep employees posted on the distributions and amounts made by posting minutes on the website.
The mission of the Volunteer Committee is to organize the volunteers to help out with events. Our goal is to help make an event successful. Some of our roles are helping out in any way needed for an even, organizing the volunteers with a clearly defined projec, provide direction and coordination of a project, and schedule meetings for the volunteers.
